Chase that salt-in-the-wound with a shot on the dance floor and move those two left feet to the beat of hard shells crunching with this Adventure: a one-hour salsa dancing lesson followed by a taco bar and an Aroma Tequila Sampler.

Head to the Ballroom of Sacramento, where our twinkle-toed team will be waiting to help show us the steps and ensure the evening goes down smoothly. After a quick briefing on rules of the dance floor, it's off to learn the basics. Following our world champion trainer, we'll begin by learning the fundamentals of the style (basic steps and beats) before moving on to learn inventive, improvisational techniques to show off on the floor. Just be prepared to move—the music of Salsa requires 150 to 250 beats per minute.

Our hips infused with the Latin beat, we'll sashay to El Patron Bar & Grill for a culinary recharge. At the taco bar, we'll enjoy chicken, steak, carnitas, and al pastor, all served with rice and beans and washed down with a soft drink. Then it's time to have a taste of the secret behind what makes for the most fluid moves: tequila. We'll take in a flight of Aroma Tequila, noting the difference between blanco, reposado, and añejo varieties as we sip on 1.5-ounce samples of each. Crawling out of your shell has never been so tasty.
