Sure, boxed wine and pre-packaged cheese were acceptable "party" food in college. Now that you've graduated, it's time to get your taste buds a degree in some finer fare. Enter this Adventure: an evening of food and wine tasting at Fifty Seven Degrees, a unique event space complete with a bar, wine shop, and temperature-controlled wine storage.

We'll meet at this Middletown wine emporium (parking is available behind Fifty Seven Degrees), where we'll be greeted by our team of tasting guides who'll be on hand to ensure a flavorful evening. With a glass of sparkling wine and recipe cards for the food stations in hand, we'll begin the night with stops at five food stations set up by gourmet food truck favorite SD Street Eats. At each stop, we'll sip on a unique choice of vino that will be paired up to complement each dish. Chefs will teach us how to prepare the foods at each station, including a meat, cheese, and seasonal fruit crostini platter; infused flatbreads; a ravioli bar; slow braised Brandt beef; and a winter fruit cobbler bar.

As we wind our way through the stations, we'll also learn about the best varietals to pair with different foods, and we'll receive a discount off of the bottles that we like. After an evening of sampling, tasting, and mingling, we can stay and enjoy a glass of vino at the bar with our fellow Adventurers, or take our recipe cards home to start planning for our all-adult party.
