Despite their skin, whales aren't thick in the head: They know that when it comes to winter, SoCal beats Alaska every time. Join us for an unbaleenable Adventure of whale watching for two followed by an after-party at an outdoor patio-bar.
Meet our pod of paddling pros on the La Jolla Shores at OEX Dive & Kayak, where we'll get fitted for our paddles, tandem kayaks, and optional wetsuits ($15 for two), and receive a souvenir aluminum water bottle, (as well as $10 off the price), both courtesy of Toyota Camry. We'll then set out for a 2.5-hour whale-watching kayak tour. It won't be a fluke if we find ourselves mere feet away from gray whales as long as 40 feet on their annual migration south. If the whales aren't out we're almost certain to see dolphins, sea lions, and seals as we take in the tranquility two miles off the La Jolla coast.
Having had enough peace, we'll paddle back to shore for some party. We'll towel off and change into our leisurewear, then drive two miles to the La Jolla Village to Prospect Bar & Grill, where we'll enjoy some live music and chips and salsa on Prospect's mod-chic patio. • One Voucher is good for two people • 21+ event • Parking is available on nearby neighborhood streets. Be sure to park in over 90 minute parking spots. Parking is NOT available in the lot next to OEX • Kayaking is fun but requires moderate physical activity. Be prepared to kayak for over 2 hours. • Please show up 15-20 minutes before your start time • Whale sightings are not guaranteed • Please leave all valuables in your car. Small cubbies are available inside OEX to store belongings • Personal Flotation Devices and Helmets are required and will be provided • A refund may be collected within 24 hours of your purchase. You may not reschedule your purchased event date or time for any reason. You may transfer your purchase to anyone over the age of 21 (unless noted otherwise) for any reason prior to your event date by visiting your Event Details Page found under 'My Vouchers.' No full or partial refunds are given to customers who miss an event. Purchasers will be notified prior to canceled or rescheduled Adventures. Canceled Adventures will be fully refunded.
