Perhaps the Battle of Thermopylae didn't end so well for the 300... but there's no doubt those Spartans were tough. Embrace your inner warrior with this Adventure: Entry to the Georgia Spartan Sprint, including a guided pre-race warm-up, after-race perks, and stylin' sweat bands to take home.

We'll meet at the Georgia International Horse Park, where the bucolic site of the 1996 Olympic equestrian events will be transformed into a challenging, muddy obstacle course that's guaranteed to make us sweat. Be sure to wear warm clothes (souvenir LivingSocial winter hats will be available for $10), as we'll we outside throughout the event. With our team of racers on hand, we'll kick things off with a high-energy warm-up session that'll have us rattling our swords. Then, it's time to slap on some war paint and psych up to get dirty: The four-mile racecourse, replete with mud runs, obstacles, trail racing, and physical and mental challenges, is tough enough for hardcore athletes but accessible to beginners, too. And, unlike the ill-fated 300, the vast majority of all race entrants reach the finish line.

Once we've battled our way to the end, we'll bask in glory at the LivingSocial private area, where we'll enjoy a free beer (for those 21 and over), back and shoulder massages courtesy of The Spa Flow, and recovery drinks from Kill Cliff and Victory H2O. And with our well-deserved finishers' medals, Spartan Race T-shirts, and LivingSocial headbands (and bragging rights), we'll strike a mud-covered pose for the ATL Nightlife photographer. After living an afternoon as a Spartan, we'll leave the evening for the only thing worth toasting to... victory.
