Walking through snow is far from our idea of fun. But walking on snow? Let's just say, it's like walking on water... but frozen. Find out exactly what we mean on this two-pronged Adventure: a snowshoeing hike (or, if Old Man Winter keeps those flakes at bay, we'll head out on a winter hike) at Meyer Park Ranch in Morrison followed by a decadent fondue and wine extravaganza at Aspen Peak Cellars in Bailey.

The fun begins when we gather at the stunning Meyer Park Ranch where our team of snow tramplers will be waiting to help make sure we stay in tip top-of-the-snow shape. We'll strap on our gear and head out into the beautiful outdoors. For the next hour, the experts from Denver Mountain Guiding will lead us on an exhilarating hike through the park's scenic loops and rolling hills.

Having worked up some hefty appetites, we'll relocate to Aspen Peak Cellars. Upon arrival, we'll get a tour of the micro-winery, a beautiful little oasis. Then, it's time to indulge. We'll help ourselves to a scrumptious fondue buffet stocked with cheese, fruit and chocolate, and enjoy a glass of seasonal spiced wine. As we nibble and sip, we'll mix and mingle—rehashing memories of the day as we get to know our fellow Adventurers and share our experience of walking on air... er, we mean snow.
