Big Chair Cafe in Anacostia
Northside Social in Clarendon
Starbucks in Springfield. I know that people think that all Starbucks are the same but the people at this one get to know you and know your order.
Grounded Coffee on Telegraph Rd. in Alexandria-- great coffee but with the incredible bonus of two pastry chefs as owners-- one born & trained in France, the other the former pastry chef for the Willard. Croissants that shatter when you bite them, outstanding quiche, cupcakes that Georgetown & Buzz wish they could make.
Firehook Bakery has the best service & Baked Goods.
Sidamo on H Street NE is the best
Peregrine Espresso is the best, hands down....
