Pay $35 (regularly $100), and aspiring mermaids and mermen ages 14 and older will get a 90-minute introductory scuba course at one of four area locations. After 30 minutes of on-land instruction, your child will slip on gear and experience breathing underwater in a heated pool. Looking for a more challenging experience? Pay $75 for a 90-minute class held in the open water (a $150 value). Both options are led by Captain Bob Huff, a passionate instructor who is a US Coast Guard-certified Merchant Marine 50 Ton Master Captain. He teaches both kids and adults alike all about this splashy form of fun.
