Sure, your job can seem like a circus at times, but rarely does all that bending over backward come with the smiles and energy that the acrobats performing on 3rd Street have. Think you could use a change of pace? Take the leap into a high-flying good time with this Adventure and pick up your own set of circus skills with a weekday night of trapeze, aerial, and trampoline acrobatics followed by a sushi dinner.
We'll gather at Trapeze School New York—Los Angeles on the Santa Monica pier where our team of levitating exhibitionists will be on hand to keep our somersaults rolling. Be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothes, but don't worry about socks: Everyone will receive a pair of tube socks, courtesy of the all-new Honda CR-V. At the helm of the instructional fun will be experts from TSNY, who'll show us the ropes, lyra—an acrobatics hoop—and nets of the trapeze arts. After a brief session outlining safety tips, we'll spring toward the trampoline first, practicing twisting techniques and other curled-up agility routines. Next, we'll span our wings testing our nerves on the flying trapeze. Fear not: harnesses and a safety net below will keep us more than safe. Finally, the lyra routine will introduce us to the physical demands of this elegant aerial ballet as we unfurl ourselves from sky-high hoops.
With our adrenaline racing, we'll take things down a notch with a premium sushi dinner courtesy of the impeccably reviewed Ninjin Sushi. We'll enjoy a meal of three California rolls, three spicy tuna rolls, three shrimp tempura rolls, three specialty rolls, and chicken teriyaki. As we relax and mingle with our fellow Adventurers, we'll have the chance to recount our day of flipping out, rolling over, and flying off the handle—and none of it will have been because of work. Jump into this good time and check, "Become and Acrobat" off of your leap list.
