The cause of popular sovereignty may have been in doubt when George Washington made his famous trip across the Delaware River, but 236 years later, there's no question that "we the people" are large and in charge. Pay homage to the democratic experiment with an Adventure that totally rules: an Oktoberfest boat cruise on the Delaware River, complete with food, beer, music, games, and more.
We'll start by heading to the Philadelphia waterfront, where our revolutionary team will be waiting to check us in. Next, we'll board the Ben Franklin Yacht, a tri-level private cruise vessel, and head out on the Delaware River for a three-hour cruise. Enjoy free reign aboard a boat that's fully equipped for the perfect Oktoberfest celebration, with a first-level indoor lounge, a second-level dance floor, and an open-air top deck to serve as our beer garden for hanging out, drinking, and playing games.
Since the freedom to choose isn't any fun without a full menu of options, we'll be at liberty to pick from a wide selection of German-themed entrées (bratwurst, knackwurst, frankfurters, wiener schnitzel, and sausage-and-sauerkraut turnovers), sides (Bavarian pretzels, potato salad, spatzle, cabbage, sauerkraut, and pickled veggies), and desserts (apple strudel and German dark chocolate fudge brownies). We'll also get a free pint of German beer to wash it all down, with more available for purchase. Demonstrate your self-determination to have a good time with an Adventure that's fully representative of fun.
