If the three-step "pick up, soy dip, wasabi" is as familiar to you as "lather, rinse, repeat," then chop-chop and pick up this Adventure: a two-hour sushi-making and sake-tasting class.
Head to Aqua Bistro to join up with our master guides who'll direct us to our half of the restaurant, where we'll receive our own personal take-home sushi-rolling mats, make our way around three stations, learning how to make four types of sushi. Aqua Bistro's executive sushi chefs will treat us to a lesson on how to make a traditional California roll, an Ichiban roll, a basil roll, and two pieces of nigiri. As we circulate around the stations, we'll also be treated to edamame to munch on.
Next, we'll enjoy a lesson and tasting of the perfect pairing for our rolls: sake. We'll whet our whistles with two tastes of sake while we get to know our fellow sushi students. We'll finish the night off as accomplished rolling graduates with a traditional sake bomb and leave stuffed with delicious eats, our personal sushi-rolling mat, and a souvenir sake glass to take home. Now that's an explosion of flavor and fun worth picking up.
