Willy Wonka – weird, reclusive, genius creator of imaginatvely delicious and sweet things. Take out "weird" and "reclusive" and you've got Northbridge Hotel's head chef Angus Jones – a renowned producer of delightful desserts. And today he, and this fine establishment, is serving up some delectable treats indeed. For just $49 (normally $114), you and a lucky companion of choice can indulge in any two mains from the "Taste of Tilly's" menu (including grilled swordfish, roasted rack of Junee lamb and more) with a bottle of house red or white wine and any two of Jones's superb dessert concoctions. We recommend his Cake of the Day, but then, for sheer simplicity, it's always hard to go past the house-made ice-cream sandwich with caramel sauce. So take advantage of this virtual golden ticket to a satisfied belly. Although no need to break out into a theatrical song and dance routine to celebrate.
