Winning any Food Network show is a formidable feat. Winning Cupcake Wars without using eggs or butter sounds nearly impossible, but Doron Petersan, owner of the vegan Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats, pulled it off—twice. Discover her championship techniques during a baking class at LivingSocial's 918 F Street space, where you'll learn how to make—and get to taste—one of her first-place cupcakes and brownies, and wash each treat down with a drink ($69). The classes are on select Mondays starting March 26.

Petersan will start the class with an introduction to her business and tips on vegan baking. You'll then roll up your sleeves to start baking Rolling Stones brown sugar cupcakes with rum frosting, one of four confections that helped her take home the crown during January's Cupcake Wars All-Stars competition. While those bake, sip on a Dark and Stormy cocktail—dark rum mixed with ginger beer. Next, you'll work on s'mores brownies, a recipe from Petersan's just-published cookbook, Sticky Fingers' Sweets: 100 Super-Secret Vegan Recipes. Pair that dark-chocolate-based dessert—which is spiked with coffee—with a dark beer.

You'll take home six to eight Rolling Stone cupcakes and s'mores brownies plus recipes to make them again. Food Network blue ribbons not included.
