Feel Transported to Paris
Opened in July 2011, this Cleveland Park eatery nods to the Left Bank with its Tudor-style ecru walls, display of menus from Parisian bistros, and (wait for it...) Parisian-inspired zinc bar. Waiters in starched white aprons fly out of the kitchen carrying plates of steaming mussels and accompanying frites (tip: go for the PEI Blue Bay variety with white wine, cream and parsley); neighbors rave about the oven-roasted salmon with Gala apples and grilled ribeye steak frites with bordelaise sauce; and the all-natural loin of lamb is about as good as you're gonna find this side of the Seine.
