Learn From a Master
A native North Carolinian, Jan Lukens has been cultivating his craft for more than 30 years. Studying at prestigious schools, such as the National Academy of Design in NYC and the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Connecticut, Jan specializes in equine portraiture, as well as other styles, and has received commissions from people such as Paula Zahn. Featured on the PBS documentary, A Day at the Met, in 2002, Jan has also had his work published in The Artist's Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Greensboro News & Record, and more. Upon winning a national portrait competition in 1991, he also was awarded a painting exhibition at the Smithsonian. Under his tutelage, you're sure to make significant strides in your own talents.
