"It has a wonderful view that's right on the water. The seafood was delicious, since that's all we had eaten. And the service was as great as everyone has told me."

A Staple on Fisherman's Wharf
Tomaso Castagnola's dungeness crab cocktail earned lots of rave reviews at the San Francisco World's Fair, and the praise was enough to convince Tomaso to open a crab stand right on the Wharf. Almost 100 years later, Castagnola's stands where the modest crab stand originally won over locals and travelers. Fresh food and friendly service, however, have stayed the same throughout the decades.
