The Art and Science of Bread Baking
Baking can be intimidating for beginners, but this welcoming workshop is the perfect place to learn the basics of a starter, the flour and water mixture that serves as the basis for the bakery's hallmark sourdough. You'll learn about the different factors that can affect a starter's development, and how to use various "feeding" schedules and ratios. Sessions are offered on Sunday and on select weekday evenings. After making the starter, you can take it home and use it to bake bread in your own oven.
