Chef Tony Marciante opened this restaurant in November of 2007 with the goal of creating a home to locals, a relaxed setting for business dinners, and a spot for great quality seafood at a reasonable price. As Bethesda's only restaurant with a fresh seafood menu that changes daily, this spot highlights what's in season and presents it in myriad ways -- mixing Mediterranean flavors with interesting twists. Kick off your feast with a platter of the fried Virginia oysters over a bed of greens, or opt for the Baby Tapas Sampler -- brimming with Spanish olives, hummus, marinated peppers, and flatbread. For a main course, dive into the pure lump crab cake, or the spicy shrimp pasta -- loaded with sweet peppers in a tomato cream sauce.
