With the pros back on the court this season, your family has caught the basketball bug. Luckily, Kaiserman JCC has the cure: $62 (regularly $124) for entry into the Junior basketball league -- either the 23 league for grades two and three, or the 46 league for grades four through six. The program begins on December 2, starting with a three-day basketball school that lays out the fundamentals of the sport before players are placed on teams. Then they'll have weekly 45-minute practices before Sunday games start in January. All participants will get T-shirts and certificates, and trophies will go to the first and second place teams in the 46 league and all teams in the 23 league. Sign up at this Wynnewood community center that's regarded as the region's premiere spot for health and wellness, and score major points with your little athletes.
