Located on Annunciation Street in a circa-1914 firehouse with cobblestone floors and high ceilings, Dijon Restaurant is a more than a restaurant; it's an experience -- so it's no wonder that Fodor's named it one of 7 Restaurants to Watch in NOLA:
• $49 ($98 value) for a three-course meal for two -- 2 starters, 2 entrées & 2 desserts
• Start with the soup du jour, a seasonal farmhouse salad, or a shrimp boulette
• Entrées: tomato-and-mushroom-braised short ribs or gulf shrimp and eggplant; don't miss dessert -- crème brûlée and beignets or a chocolate terrine
"This is a gem! Excellent food, fantastic service, and lovely ambiance. I can't wait to tell my friends and family about this place! Definitely want to come back again!"

Modern Cuisine in a Quaint Historic Setting
Owner Kurt Brodtmann explains that maintaining much of the building's original structure was very important. "It is what New Orleans is," he says. "The fact that we did preserve our history and our heritage... is part of what makes this town what it is." And while the food is anything but old-fashioned, the menu -- which changes seasonally -- features nods to N'awlins, too, with fresh, locally sourced picks studding the thoughtful menu.
