From Golf to Grapes
Sitting snugly between Mt. Graham and the Dos Cabezas mountains sits Coronado Vineyards. One part of the establishment, the "El Pinto" vineyard, is named after a lone pine tree that stands as the only reminder of this location's former use as a golf course. Though its purpose has changed in the past seven years, the lush ground still remains well-maintained and cared for by owners Mark and Jacque Cook -- who hand-picked every varietal blossoming across acres of soil sitting perfectly at more than 4,000 feet. This couple takes pride in making their vineyard one-of-a-kind, from the creative blends they bottle to the soothing outdoor tasting area. Soak up good spirits at this Willcox wonderland, and toast to the fine fruits of this spot's historic grounds.
