A Candy Landmark
Shane Confectionery opened in 1863 and remains the oldest continuously run confectionery in the US. In 2010 it was acquired by the Berley brothers, who own the nearby Franklin Fountain and now strive to maintain the original emphasis on old-fashioned, hand-crafted candy quality. Learn the process of making bean-to-bar chocolate in a classroom environment, and enjoy five different chocolate bars from around the world in the process.
