More About The Course
The four-day course includes classroom and in-pool instruction, plus four open-water dives on a local beach -- usually either Redondo or Laguna. The program is held over the course of two consecutive weekends; during your first Saturday and Sunday sessions, you'll review course materials and take part in two four-hour practice sessions in an indoor heated pool under the supervision of professional trainers. Your next weekend, you'll head to the local beach for your open water dives; you might even spot eels, lobsters, or sea lions.
