Amazing shop! Great service. The Mad Hatter Tea for two was an amazing experience with great food! They were out of mocha cake but offered other options to replace it. I enjoyed it so much I literally went back a few days later to have more scones and tea!

Good food, gracious service. A bit difficult to hear the server between her mask and the general conversation in the room, but nothing can be done about that!

Chai didn’t hit the mark (I’m indian). Not rich or diverse with the warm spice. Service was kind and attentive albeit a bit sparse. Curried chicken dry and unpalatable - this is high tea, not burningman. Scones were delicious. Where’s the clotted cream?! Mocha cake was dry but yummy. Overall- more richness required. Front of house was amazing! Atmosphere wasn’t magical, but you make it what it is!

I took a long time friend of mine to Alice's Tea Cup for lunch. The food was delicious and the staff excellent. Our server couldn't have been nicer. I have been coming for years and will be coming back again and again.

About Alice's Tea Cup

Alice's Tea Cup is a self-described "dream come true" for sisters Haley and Lauren Fox, Upper West Side natives and fervent believers in the magic of tea parties. Two Manhattan locations—nicknamed Chapters I and II in homage to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland—welcome patrons into cozy, light-filled spaces for breakfast, brunch, lunch and light supper, in addition to traditional afternoon tea. Tiered trays of homemade sandwiches, cookies, and scones with jam and clotted cream share the menu with more than 100 varieties of tea, all precisely steeped in 180-degree, double-filtered water for optimal flavor.
