About Anjee Mai Creations
At Anjee Mai Creations, Anjee Mai Emerson combines her two passions: art and play. Inspired by the joy she felt while creating sculptures, she decided to share the joy with students aged 8 - 108. She leads her students in shaping polymer clay monster sculptures, motivating them to tap their imaginations to bring one-eyed green gremlins or self-destructive socialites to life. During each three-hour workshop, up to 14 guests gather in this casual learning environment. Anjee encourages her students to make playfulness, fun, and imagination central pillars of their artistic process. Don't forget to also check out https://www.etsy.com/shop/AnjeeMaiCreations to view handmade monsters, earrings, magnets and other creations in her studio gallery available for purchase
Anjee Mai Emerson's studio is located in the Northrup King Building which is In the heart of the NE Minneapolis Arts District - one of the oldest and most well known of the many studio buildings in NE Minneapolis which host the largest open studio tour in the world (Art A Whirl). The classes being held on Saturdays from 1-4 are during open studio hours at Northrup King, which makes it a great time to visit other open studios before, during the break, or after the workshop!
