Property at a Glance: Maui Sunset

Maui Sunset stretches across 5 acres of oceanfront property, just a 15 minute’s drive from Wailea Beach and Kamaole Beach Park 3 and less than 4 miles from Keawakapu Beach. It’s equipped to help you take full advantage of the setting. Sunbathe on the sandy, picturesque beach or take a dip in the large outdoor pool (closed 9/7-10) flanked by a 12-person hot tub. Snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, kiteboarding, and deep-sea fishing are just a short walk away off the beaches of Kihei. Then, relax in one of the 225 individually decorated guestrooms, each with private, furnished balconies and full kitchens.

  • Stay active on the regulation-size, outdoor tennis courts, outdoor pool, or putting green, then relax your muscles in the steamy sauna.
  • Take a walk to Kalepolepo Beach Park, which is less than a mile away and is famous for its turtles.
  • Each condo features a fully equipped kitchen, a private deck, air conditioning, and a washer and dryer.
  • Nearby fishpond: Just about a quarter mile away from the hotel is a 34-acre fishpond that, according to local lore, was built centuries ago by a Hawaiian king.
  • Recent award: 2018 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence
  • Explore Waipuilani Park: This beach reserve located steps from the hotel features a fringing reef and a saltwater lagoon.

Maui, Hawaii: Gorgeous Beaches, Haleakala Volcano, and Seasonal Whale Watching

Maui is considered one of the Pacific’s most beautiful spots and a favorite among Hollywood’s elite. Arguably, Maui’s biggest attraction is Haleakala, the world’s largest dormant volcano, which technically encompasses 75% of the island. A paved road leads up to Haleakala’s summit, where visitors can stretch their legs and walk around the rim of the lunar-like volcanic crater. The towering peak is a playground for bicyclists, who coast down the slopes all the way to the beach town of Paia.

Elsewhere on the island, it’s a rite of passage to drive the Road to Hana, a 68-mile route that zigzags along the scenic northeastern coast with more than 600 hairpin curves. There are several points of interest along the way, including botanical gardens, tiny villages, and waterfall pools for swimming.

They didn't pay me or anything to give this review, but this place was amazing. Super easy check in, awesome location and totally stocked up with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The grounds were beautifully kept. There wasn't a strong "touristy" feel to the place either. Loved Kihei, the shopping, food and stores were very close by and perfect. Our family LOVED the Maui Sunset!!
