Days 1–3: La Fortuna
After your flight from the United States (airfare not included with this deal), you’ll be transported to Casa Luna Hotel & Spa, a rustic, colonial-style hotel near Arenal Volcano. The next day is filled with adventurous activities, including the following:
- Zipline tour: You’ll whiz past colorful birds, through lush rainforests, and over waterfalls.
- Arenal Volcano National Park tour: At this roughly 30,000-acre park, you’ll find hiking trails, fertile rainforests, and a wide variety of plants and animals. Keep your eyes peeled for parrots, howler monkeys, and rare orchids.
- Arenal hot springs: Soothe tired muscles in warm pools created by the area’s geothermal activity.
- Choose your adventure: On day 3, you can arrange extra activities like a trip to the Rio Celeste & Tenorio, which is one of the most unexplored locations of Costa Rica.
Days 4–6: Tamarindo
On day 4, you’ll be transported to the Tamarindo Diria Beach Resort for a few days of relaxation. The Pacific Ocean is just steps away, and there are swimming pools, casino, restaurants, and bars onsite.
- Lounge by the sea: The resort has a sublime beachfront, and other popular beaches are minutes away for additional scenery.
- Explore Tamarindo Beach: Spend the day exploring the beautiful area surrounding the surfing town with a variety of activities like sport fishing tours, surf lessons, ATV’S, nightlife, and more.
