I already had a small 3 year asparagus garden that wasn’t producing as well as I would like so decided to plant another next to it. These crowns arrived looking a little shaky at first but once planted, ALL of them came up and were a few inches tall within 1 week. I used Miracle Grow soil mixed with Scott’s premium Humus and Manure. They are growing like crazy. I had to add more soil/humans/manure mix to support these tiny plants but I can already tell they will be much better than the original garden. I am very pleased. I will let them grow and fern this year and see what next year brings. Very pleased with these asparagus crowns!!!
