As for the design of the table itself, it is great. The only slight negative is that you really need 2 hands when opening or closing it. If there was an extra hinge in the middle or they were really stiff, this might not be the case. Not a big deal though.
As for the table from Groupon, I bought it here because it was way cheaper than other retailers. After receiving the table, I believe that is because many of the pieces had some minor cosmetic damage. It really is minor. some feint scratches and dents at most. Though there is a scratch in the top piece that's hard to miss that is kind of annoying out of the box. (Though for ~$50-$100 savings, I can deal with it)
Overall, table looks great. Product itself is well designed and really solid. This really checked a lot of boxes for me. Only caution is the Groupon product may come with some very minor cosmetic damage, which may or may not be worth the great price you get.
I was glad my Dad made all his kids take woodworking in school. I had the table assembled in 30 minutes, then it came time to attach the top. That took another 30 mins for that one step. It seems I cannot stand on my head or lean sideways and I cannot screw upside down. So you may think about attaching the openers to the top first instead of how they have it in the instructions. You will have more room to screw in the screws by acting like you have it opened and propped up on something.
