I ordered the same pans about two years ago. They lasted about that long (we do a lot of cooking), and then the non-stick coating didn’t do its job anymore. At the price they’re selling for, it’s worth it to me to go ahead and get another set after two years of heavy use.
Overall the pans are nice, lightweight, and seem to be "non-stick". However, one of them (the middle sized one) had a chip in the ceramic upon arrival. I thought it was just an imperfection, so I rubbed at it (not hard, just with my fingertip) and a whole flake of ceramic came off. I'm not sure if that one is safe to use anymore now that the coating is gone in that spot.
Great pans so far. But really anything is better than the skillets my wifes grandma has. Not everything is meant to be cooked in a cast iron skillet. Actually very little is meant to. Wont be breaking anymore sunnyside eggs.
The large pan was not flat on the bottom but it seems there policy is if you don’t open the package and find the defect in the first 30 days your just out of luck. It doesn’t matter that it was purchased as a gift, so it wasn’t opened until later.
This was clearly a factory defect and they wouldn’t do anything about it. I was just asking for a replacement.
My advice is don’t buy this set, but if you do, open the package and inspect it. Cheap junk!
