It went together reasonably well, although written instructions would have helped. Drawings with arrows pointing where things go gets confusing. If I hadn't have used wood glue on the wooden dowels (as I normally do), they would have come out easier when I realized that out too many dowels in the end boards. I had none left for the small boards.
I bought this shelf for a TV and to house the multiple gaming systems in our gameroom. It looks nice and the systems including all of the electrical cords fit perfectly because of the open shelving in the back.
The unit was basically simple to put together. Looks good! Sturdy! Only disappointment: one of the metal posts was bent into an oval, took some work, but I managed to make it fit the hole.
Good easy shelving to put together...the instructions (or lack there of) only show pictures and are not specific about what goes where. Wouldn't pay $100 for something like this when its real cheaply made and shouldn't have cost more than $40.
Love it! It looks very classy and makes for a good simple bar cabinet and show case.
Plus it was fairly easy to assemble.

Love this shelf. Very classy, sturdy, love that you can use it to separate rooms and still see the items on both sides due to the open concept of the shelf. Great item for the price! Also arrived quicker than I excpexted!
