It was a small and short self guided experience. It was very relaxing to walk through and look and read the exhibits. The little town it’s located in is beautiful and laid back. It’s a whole experience. We walked the museum, walked outside for some ice cream and enjoyed the little town. Definitely recommend for someone looking for a relaxing afternoon.

Great photos of JFK and family. Timeline of events very interesting. Great way to spend a couple of hours and think about what might have been. JFK did a lot for this country in his short time in office.

This is a must see museum, especially if you are a history buff. The price for a ticket for two adults was excellent. You certainly get your money’s worth. Children who don’t remember the Kennedy Dynasty should see it to understand why adults will always remember the day JFK, Bobby, and Martin Luther were shot. It helps give the background of why there is so much hatred and gun violence today.

About JFK Hyannis Museum

John F. Kennedy is nothing short of an American legend—an icon of both hope and tragedy. The residents of Cape Cod, however, see him a little differently. "He was our 35th President and our neighbor," they say, and it's this neighborly, human side of the man that takes center stage at the JFK Hyannis Museum.

The Museum offers a multimedia experience that recreates Kennedy's life from 1934 to 1963. Exhibits contain film, photographs, and decorative displays; there's even a video about Cape life narrated by Walter Cronkite. Each year, the Museum supplements its standing collection with a special exhibit focusing on one aspect of JFK's life, be it his political accomplishments or his relationship with his brother.
