The staff was not helpful, even when I asked a simple request to get change for a $20 bill. they said they had to ask the manager and it took almost 10 minutes! The bathrooms were without supplies (i.e. hand soap and toilet paper) and I had to let the staff know. Staff was mostly just standing around.

Took my 3yo here and he had fun running around for a couple of hours. Hes a big/tall 3yo, wears 5t clothes and some of the stuff was too difficult for him to climb. Every ladder is a hard metal curved ladder and he ended up falling off a ladder in the big tree and spraining his ankle. I wont be bringing him back until he's bigger. The little kids area sucked. Not a great place for kids under 5.

About Makutu's Island
Arizona may be known for its desert, but if you look hard enough, you'll find the state also houses a tropical island. It's Makutu's Island, an indoor play center designed to look and feel like a lush, equatorial getaway complete with a lush green tree, snake slide, and saltwater aquarium.
The epicenter of the fun is a giant banana tree, its interior filled with tunnels, tubes, poles, and slides. There's even a 35-foot slide, the snake slide, wrapped around its exterior. Other activities range from arcade games, bungee trampoline, mini zip tracker, and birthday party packages.
While kids dash about, parents can relax in the parent's lounge, which features free WiFi, and numerous outlets for phones and laptops lugged from home.
