You'll be greeted with affection and confection: A box of chocolates, a bottle of wine, and unlimited soft drinks and snacks await your arrival. Then, heat things up in the hot tub or take a dip in the swimming pool. In the morning, you'll swoon over a hearty home-cooked breakfast served in the open kitchen.
Since you're already in a state of punch-drunk love, continue your revelry with a trip to select wineries in beautiful Loudoun and Fauquier counties. You'll be given three wine-tasting passes each to any of these appointed vineyards, and with the harvest upon us, you're bound to encounter the region's best fruits, veggies, and wine.
If you want to indulge your wild side, make a date with nature, and take a spin through Shenandoah National Park, which is bound to be awash in a million shades of autumn. Ride the nearby trails on horseback or by bike, take in an equestrian event, or hike through Sky Meadows State Park. Or, treat your paramour to more proper pastimes with a hand-in-hand walk through the streets of downtown Middleburg.
