The Destination
Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park offers some of the best hiking in the world, from famous 14,000-foot peaks like Mt. Evans and Mt. Bierstadt to the alpine tundra of Summit Lake Park, with abundant wildlife to be found throughout. And nobody knows this awe-inspiring terrain as well as the guides at Skyline Travel Inc. Join them on a four-day hiking and camping adventure and discover top-of-the-world views as you put your physical fitness to the test.

The Itinerary
day 1: You'll arrive at Denver International Airport, where you'll transfer to your first campsite. There, enjoy a hearty dinner and socialize with guides and your group of no more than 25 hikers.
Overnight in a tent. Dinner provided.

day 2: The day begins at 7 a.m. with breakfast at the campsite. From there, you'll begin hiking the East Ridge trail, which overlooks the beautiful Summit Lake. It's approximately 2.3 miles round-trip, with an elevation gain of approximately 1,000 feet. You'll trek up Mt. Spalding's East Ridge before reaching easier terrain, where you'll hike below the ridge to bypass the difficult terrain before climbing back up the ridge to the summit. You'll stop there, around 10 a.m., to enjoy the views, take pictures, and fuel up with a packed lunch. At 11:30, you'll descend to the lake and enjoy more views before returning to the campsite, where you'll enjoy a delicious meal and spend the rest of the evening relaxing and socializing.
Overnight in a tent. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.

day 3: Rise and shine at 3 a.m. for breakfast, then set out for the Guanella Pass trailhead, which leads to the summit of Mt. Bierstadt, about 3.25 miles away with an elevation gain of 2,415 feet. Arrive at the summit around 7 a.m. to take in the views, shoot some photos, and eat a snack. Hikers in good physical condition will continue on to the summit of Mt. Evans, a 3.5-mile hike with about 1,000 feet of elevation gain. There, you'll eat a packed lunch and enjoy the views. Those who choose not to summit Mt. Evans will take the same route back to the trailhead and return to the campsite for lunch. The rest of the day will be spent relaxing, refueling, and socializing.
Overnight in a tent. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.

day 4: Wake for breakfast at 7 a.m., then break down the campsite and hit the road by 8. The last stop before your flight home: Indian Hot Springs, where you'll spend most of the day unwinding. You'll depart around 1 p.m. for the airport, and stop along the way for lunch and perhaps a farewell photograph with the crew.
Breakfast provided.
