hotel description

The Destination
Is there any city in the world like New Orleans? From the architecture to the cuisine, the Big Easy is perhaps America's most atmospheric town, a whole different world where the only things that matter are good food, good drink, and good company. Or, as the saying goes in the Crescent City, laissez le bon temps rouler: "Let the good times roll."

The Digs
With its stately white facade, 23-foot ceilings, and ornate pilasters, International House charms in classic Beaux Arts fashion. Built in 1906, this boutique hotel just two blocks from the French Quarter was renovated in 2011 by designer-for-the-stars LM Pagano, who adorned the space with Baroque-style rococo furnishings alongside modern art. In addition to a facelift, the hotel was outfitted with a host of amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center with access to spa services. Also on site: the popular cocktail bar Loa, featuring boutique wines and spirits, homemade tinctures, and fresh-squeezed juices. Each of 44 Deluxe Queen Rooms is equipped with a spa-like bathroom, Wi-Fi, LCD TV, and Aveda bath amenities, while upgraded Apple King Rooms feature Apple TVs, 12-foot ceilings, marble desks, sitting chairs with ottomans, and more.
