The staff is very friendly. Hotel is not that close to DC attractions but it is close to Metro. Do not eat at Trio's up on 17th--poor service and mediocre food.
pros: Very nice room--big bathroom. Decent location.
cons: I did not like the fact the hotel offers parking on their website but when you check in with them on the phone, the parking is valet only, $35.00 per night--and a $6.50 garage tax added on to each night. Parking fees are high all over.

We were told this hotel can only do heating or cooling in the whole building.During spring time,AC just doesn't work on cooling. The whole building is like this.We had to open the window even though we stayed on the first floor and didn't feel safe enough doing it.Nobody seemed cared and nobody apologized to us.We will not stay in this hotel again.
pros: Location is OK.
cons: We stayed in this hotel for two nights during the end of March weekend. It was early spring but the weather was in 70s and the room was warm when we arrived. We turned on the AC right away but it heated the room above 80s instead of making it cooler.

pros: Location
cons: Room was NOISY! Hotel duct work funnels resturant and bar noise to rooms in first 3 floors. 35$ a night plus $7 "parking tax" is out of line compared to other hotels. 4 Star Willard Intercontinental, for example, only charges $22/night.
