Straight from the land of the pyramids to the Pacific Science Center, today's deal brings you some of the most impressive archaeological finds in history: Pay $75 for two adult admission tickets to "Tutankhamun The Golden King & the Great Pharaohs." This exhibit features more than 100 objects from the tomb of famed boy pharaoh King Tut as well as from other important ancient sites -- including jewelry, furniture ceremonial items, and a ten-foot-tall statue of Tut himself. With nearly half of the objects in the exhibition uncovered in 1922 by British explorer Howard Carter, the show gives fascinating insight into more than 2,000 years of Egyptian history.

Another reminder of life's brevity and the seeming immortality of some artifacts comes with a shot from a 1922 film of the discovery of King Tut's tomb. You'll recognize items seen in the exhibit being carefully extracted from the Egyptian sands.
