The Sea Life: Another indie act out of the District, this band uses easy dreampop melodies to explore themes of love and life. Listen here.

September 26
Mission South: Local group Mission South takes decidedly Southern blues up a notch with heavy riffs and hard beats. Listen here.

Hollis Brown: An up-and-coming group out of New York, this band does bluesy rock 'n' roll with soulful ballads. Listen here.

The Broadcast: With soulful vocals heading up a funk-ti-fied sound of horns and hit-heavy beats, this Ashville-based group delivers a unique old-school-meets-rock 'n' roll sound. Listen here.
