For 37 years, the American String Quartet has thrilled audiences with classics and new works by the likes of Claus Adam, Richard Danielpour, George Tsontakis, and others. On February 8 they take to the stage at the Music Box at Orchestra Hall for "Side by Side Quartets," alongside the Aeolus String Quartet, one of the brightest rising young quartets in the country.

Come see these fabulous musical groups perform music from composers each has worked with closely. Pay $20 (regularly $40) for two tickets. Not only will you be treated to a concert of new music in this hall -- which will feature intimate cabaret-style seating, a cash bar, and refreshments -- you'll also get to enjoy a discussion of the music by the musicians themselves.
