classic cinema remastered into digital

The Godfather: Part I, winner of the 1973 Academy Award for Best Picture, and The Godfather Part: II, winner of the 1975 Academy Award for Best Picture, tell the story of a New York mafia family through the years. Head patriarch Don Vito Corleone, played by Marlon Brando, runs the family business with old world values that are soon tested against the "new way" and in Part II sees the family business attempt to expand into Las Vegas, Hollywood, and Cuba. Al Pacino and Robert Duvall also star in these movies, both of which have won numerous Academy Awards. Experience these films for the first time in Michigan in their digitally remastered versions -- done under the supervision of the original director, Francis Ford Coppola.

Included in the Three Stooges Film Festival are six of this trio's most popular short films -- "Uncivil Warriors," "Ants in the Pantry," "False Alarms," "Oily to Bed, Oily to Rise," "Yes, We Have No Bonanza," "What's the Matador?," and "Punch Drunks," which is in color.
