You look and feel better when you're beaming, and while there are plenty of ways to ensure you've got that healthy glow, exercise and helping others are at the top of the list. Give yourself a brighter day -- literally -- with this deal: admission for one to LivingSocial's Glow-in-the-Dark 5K Dance Party, followed by an after-party. The price will go up as the event draws closer, so grab a group of friends and buy now.

Head to Dick's Sporting Goods Park -- dressed in all black -- on Saturday, June 29 for a fun run unlike any race you've ever seen. We'll be loaded up with a ton of awesome glow-in-the-dark swag. As we run around the grounds and through the stadium concourse, music will be piped into speakers along the course, so we're all moving to the same beat. The last thing you should worry about is your race time -- walkers are totally welcome.

And to "light up the night" not just here in Denver but across the globe, we'll be donating 500 solar lanterns to school children in Somalia without electricity, enabling them to read and study at night. If that's not enough to brighten up your evening, after the run we'll enjoy a massive glow-in-the-dark after-party.

glow for a cause

Partners for the 5K Dance Party are Mercy Corps and d.light -- two organizations dedicated to improving the lives of people suffering from the effects of poverty and oppression.

Mercy Corps is committed to alleviating suffering, poverty, and oppression by helping people build secure, productive, and just communities. The mission of d.light is "to create new freedoms for customers without access to reliable power so they can enjoy a brighter future" by replacing every kerosene lantern with clean, safe, and bright light. The organization hopes to bring light to 100 million people by 2020.
