From fitting into that little black dress to fitting into those slacks, we usually put foot to pavement for one reason. With today's deal from Special Olympics New York, sprint for a much more important cause: Pay $39 ($75 value) to register one adult for the Rugged Run for Respect 5K on October 5.

Held at Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds in Wheatley Heights and designed for runners of all ability levels, this dirty dash will have you scaling walls, crawling through dirt, navigating mud pits, and enjoying the crisp autumn air while you support an amazing foundation. After the grime has settled, all proceeds from the race will go to the Special Olympics, which provides athletic training and competition opportunities to more than 60,000 New Yorkers with special needs -- talk about really nourishing your sole while going for a run.
