i bought this rack because I have a mountain bike and instead of taking the front wheel off every time to load it, i put the whole bike in one piece. its much easier to get it in and out, it comes with a locking mechanism, but only one key. i was missing a nut so i went to Lowes and bought a upgraded hardware with hex bolts and nylon locking nuts. great price!!
