Cheap bed, does the job for light duty use. For the money though it's a good buy. I give it 5 stars however for its great, surely unintended use; as a military style stretcher. I have a rescue dog who got attacked by another dog and is currently immobile due to pain in her front legs. How on earth was I going to get a 100lb dog out a 20 foot hallway, down 6 steps, and 100 feet out to the car to get her to the vet for follow-up appointments? She's receiving 24/7 home care and being able to move her comfortably and safely is a priority. I undid the cross bars and created a cloth stretcher. Even with pins in the middle of the long side bars and a 100lb dog dangling ... I had no concerns, she was comfortable and it was nice to unclip them for tub time. She's not out of the woods yet but is doing better every day, and her sling to help support her front end is coming to help her put weight on her front legs. Thanks for the double duty use!
