Buying refurbished laptops has a big upside: savings. Used laptops are almost always a little more inexpensive than the brand-new variety. Still, when grabbing refurbished laptops, there are a few things you should consider. New | A-Grade Refurbished | Scratch & Dent

New

  • Condition/grading: new

  • Packaging: manufacturer packaging

  • Accessories: Includes all original accessories, such as standard battery supplies or power cords.

A-Grade Refurbished

  • Condition/grading: Like new with little to no wear. Tested and certified by a third-party refurbisher based on functionality, cleaning, inspection, and repackaging.

  • Packaging: generic packaging

  • Accessories: refurbished or generic charging cable and power adapter

Scratch and Dent

  • Condition/grading: Laptops will show signs of use, with minor dings, dents, and smudges on the front and back. Laptop corners may be slightly dented.   • Packaging: generic packaging
