About Gelato Gourmet

The Gelato Gourmet was created by Haydee Gomez, a young passionate entrepreneur who'd gained professional experience working for a well-known gelato store in Canada. After several years of working there, Haydee realized that she'd developed a true passion for gelato desserts and she wanted to bring joy to customers in her very own shop. She enrolled in various gelato and other frozen dessert courses to further her knowledge even more. After a lot of hard work, she was ready.

The company that Haydee created started its journey by selling homemade natural Italian ice-cream in Doral Farmers Market every Sunday. The very same year, the business expanded to nine new farmers market stands in Miami Dade and Broward County. In 2015, the rapid growth of Gelato Gourmet — and a lot of satisfied patrons that came with it — allowed the company to open a new division of events and catering services for private parties and corporate functions. Today, Gelato Gourmet boasts a Gelato Coffee shop in Weston, Florida, and a new location in Hialeah Gardens. These shops are where the magic of ice-cream production takes place and from where the frozen treats travel to various events across the South Florida.
