What We Offer
Option 1: California State-Certified Online Driving Course
Fulfill Step 1 of your licensing journey from the comfort of home. This 100% online, self-paced course meets the state-mandated 30-hour classroom requirement.
- What’s Included: Comprehensive instruction on road signs, traffic laws, and defensive driving.
- The Result: Upon completion, you’ll receive your Official Certificate of Completion (DL 400C), which is required to take your written permit test at the DMV.
Option 2: Three Sessions of In-Person Teens Group Driving Lessons
Ready for Step 3? Once you have your learner's permit, you must complete professional "behind-the-wheel" training.
- The Requirement: California requires a total of 6 hours of professional instruction. These three 2-hour sessions satisfy that entire requirement.
- The Experience: Learn in a supportive group environment with a DMV-licensed instructor focusing on real-world skills like highway merging, parallel parking, and hazard recognition.
- Validation: Your instructor will sign your permit after the first lesson, legally "activating" it so you can begin practicing with your parents or guardians.
The 3-Step Path to Your Permit & License

Important Details
- Age Requirement: Students must be at least 15½ to start the process and receive a permit.
- In-Person Locations: Group lessons are held at designated training sites. Please check the "Fine Print" for specific pickup/drop-off rules and scheduling availability.
- Additional Practice: After completing Step 3, teens must still complete 50 hours of supervised practice with a licensed adult (25+) before taking their final DMV road test.
