Will my plant look like the photos? OPEN
Not exactly — and that's the point. Thai Constellation variegation is randomly distributed, so the amount and placement of creamy marbling differs on every plant and every leaf. Some arrive heavily splashed, others more subtly speckled. The photos show representative plants, not the specific one you'll receive.
Will a small plant have the split leaves? OPEN
Probably not yet. The signature fenestrations — the splits and holes — develop as a Monstera matures. The 3" size is a young plant with solid leaves; the variegation is there from the start, but the dramatic splits arrive as it grows. If you want split leaves on day one, go for 6" or larger.
Is this hard to care for? OPEN
It's rare, but it isn't fussy — care is much the same as a standard Monstera deliciosa. Bright indirect light, water when the top couple of inches of soil dry out, and a chunky well-draining mix. The main thing variegated plants ask for is good light; too little and new growth tends to come in greener.
