Great experience! I worked for a few years in a massage spa, and decided to try out Rose Massage with a 55 minute Groupon voucher, I was not disappointed. I saw in one review someone mention it as a "dive" which really wasn't my impression. It struck me more as a mom-and-pop shop. Small and cozy, not like a typical bright modern spa, but very comfortable and inviting in my opinion. When I arrived, the receptionist was very friendly, and let me know that add ons were available. I decided to add hot stones, and I loved how they were used intermittently throughout the massage - some places just kind of set them on your back for a minute, but my therapist actually used them to aid in the massage. They had an appropriately thorough intake form that included relevant health questions and areas of pain/concern. I had a male therapist (I believe I heard his name was Andrew?) He was great about doing proper draping, he used a few mild stretches and tapping on the heels and soles of my feet, and was clearly experienced as he found a hidden knot in my shoulder and addressed my other areas of concerns. They accept zelle, cash, and card (card comes with a $2 surcharge) and they highly recommend you tip a minimum of $15 per therapist (which is pretty much industry standard, and honestly what I think was a fair tip for the service I received.) Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing massage!
