About Yak's Fitness
In accordance with their official motto, "For Your Health And Well Being", certified personal trainers Chris and Shelly Yakimchuk opened Yak's Fitness to help clients not only adopt a healthier lifestyle, but have fun doing it. To that end, they made sure their family-run gym has plenty of studio space for Cross Training and available functional training classes that get clients moving with no sing-up or maintenance fees. Outside of fitness sessions, guests can workout with Atlantis Precision Series equipment, Kettlebells, TRX Suspension Trainers, and Bumper Plates; or take things up a notch with customized personal training sessions that focus on individual goals, such as prepping for a marathon or even a physique contest. After exercising, members can refuel at the on-site smoothie bar, lend newfound biceps a golden hue in a tanning bed, or hit the small shop stocked with sports supplements and workout clothes.
